Merchant terms of service

1. Introduction

These terms govern your use of the SportPay platform operated by SportPay Platform Ltd., Company No. Placeholder Reg. 2024-IE-0001, domiciled in Ireland. By creating a merchant account you accept these terms and our accompanying policies.

2. Services we provide

We supply invoicing tools, hosted payment pages, payout management, and compliance checks for independent experts providing coaching, tutoring, or similar professional services.

3. Merchant obligations

• Provide accurate personal, business, and banking information.
• Maintain up-to-date social profile links (Instagram or LinkedIn) and government identification.
• Deliver services to clients as described in your invoices within the agreed timeframe.
• Comply with all applicable laws, including data protection and consumer rights regulations.
• Notify us immediately of any suspected fraudulent activity or account compromise.

4. Fees and settlement

Transaction fees are detailed on our pricing page. Fees are deducted before payout. Settlement typically occurs within two (2) business days for approved merchants. We may withhold funds if we suspect fraud, chargebacks, or policy breaches.

5. Refunds and disputes

You must honour the SportPay refund policy. Refund requests submitted within 14 days of payment will be processed through the platform. We may debit future payouts to cover client refunds or chargebacks.

6. Prohibited activities

The platform may not be used for illegal products or services, deceptive marketing, high-risk financial products, gambling, or any activity that violates card network rules. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that fail compliance checks.

7. Compliance review

We may request additional documents or information at any time to satisfy AML/KYC requirements. Failure to provide accurate information may result in suspension or termination.

8. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these terms will not exceed the fees paid to us in the preceding three (3) months.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland. Courts located in Dublin, Ireland have exclusive jurisdiction.
